Timber kitchens are made of many different species of timber and can vary in price accordingly. They are usually the most expensive but can give that warm cozy feeling if that is the way you are inclined. Consider the timbers as some species yellow considerable while other species hold their color or yellow beautifully. These timber kitchens are suitable for colonial or heritage homes but not as popular as they once were.<\/p>\n

Below is a Tasmanian oak kitchen with a black galaxy granite benchtop done many years ago for (a customer from hell) but nevertheless radiates an Australian colonial feeling.<\/p>\n

To be quite truthful, I do not recognize or remember the species of timber, but my guess is American Oak which keeps its’ beauty forever more. The benchtop is 40 mm stone. This image will be at its’ best after the ornaments are displayed inside the display case.<\/h5>\n

The reason to purchase a wooden door kitchen is because you like the warm colonial feeling that only timber can accomplish or to match a heritage home. The cost is always more than any other kitchen but if that is your preference is a warm colonial look then that is what will give you the most pleasure.<\/h3>\n
